That's unbelievable. I was on the Sarsfield DD 837 from 68 to 71. AND I was a skivvy waver.. .SM2, went to 'A' school in Pearl. Home port was Mayport FL. The Ozbourn and the Sarsfield were Gearing Class destroyers. The Sars was also decommissioned in 74. . . October. I appreciate that time a lot more now than I did then.
