I'm in the middle of trying to close off an old cooker socket and tile over it. I've already put terminal blocks on the wires and everything's working fine. However there is a fuse and red light attached to the circuit. Is it dangerous to just ignore these, leave the red light on permanently and seal up the former socket., or if I disconnect the wire leading to the fuse is this dodgy ?
