starting a lawn boy mower

I've had 2 lawn boy mowers in the last 25 years, they are great but I've always had trouble getting them started the 1st time. I can turn the engine off after it starts the 1st time and I never have problems restarting again. Has anyone else had this problem? and can you recommend a solution? Was this post helpful?
