Sump pump ordor

My electric went off disabling my sump pump. The basement flooded. Electric has been restored, the basement cleaned and a back up pump installed. My problem is that since the flooding I have a nasty ordor iminating from the sump basin. I have cleaned it with clorox but the order persist.

What is the cause and what can I do??
