I have a 10 year old Bryant furnace with a bad secondary heat exchanger which the part is covered under warrant, but not the $400 labor charge. It also would require a new collector box for the installation (another $237.00) also the inducer is making a loud sound. Bearings are probable going out which would be another estimated $700+ to replace. And for the icing on the cake, the board has probably reached it's life expectancy. Another $900+. In conclusion I have decided to replace the furnace. And guess what IT WON"T BE A BRYANT!!!!!!!!!
