I'm originally not from Canada or the US, but have beEn living here for 2 years. I noticed that lots of people use styrofoam cups and plates for all sorts of events instaed of using ceramic, which can be washed and reused. I was wondering how bad styrofoam is for our health and the environment. For example in Germany McDonalds had to stop using styrofoam and switched to paper. Aren't disposable paper cups and plates a much better choice for the environment?
