Just like leeann i would like to put an outlet in a drawer for a hairdryer also. Years ago I saw this same thing at a hotel but it was done safeley by having the drawer on a limit switch to cut the power when it was closed thus not allowing the device to turn on and start a fire while not in use. The drawer was lined in a fire resistant material as to not burn when you placed the warm hairdryer away. I have checked my local building codes and have not found it addressed. Any help in finding a kit to allow me to do this would be great.thanks
