Two days ago I had a new upflow hot air furnace installed and attached to old duct work., The fabricated return duct approx.12x18 was connected to the back of the furnace. I am getting barely warm air and the furnace keeps going off and on trying to satisfy the thermostate. Is the existing duct work too large for the new furnace?
and what is the effect of the improper connection of the duct work to the back of the furnace?
