Is the icemaker filling with water? If it isn't, there won't be any ice to dump.
If it isn't filling with water, the fill tube that goes through the back of the cabinet could be frozen, the water fill valve on the back of the fridge defective or as Chad stated, there could be a problem with the water valve on the house water pipe.
