We have a three year old Carrier Weather Maker 8000 gas furnace. If we have it set below 70 it seems not to work well, It turns on very infrequently, if we turn off the switch on the side of the furnace and turn it back on it will come on, but otherwise it will get very cold in the house before it kicks on. I would like to leave it set at around 67. But it does not seem to maintain that temp in the house.
