buying logs for rustic furniture

any one have any idea where I could purchase maple logs or comparable wood for making rustic furniture,, and or anyone know about how much a piece of log like this might cost. I figure I would need in lenghts of 4 foot or so, and probably need average of 6 pieces that would be 3-5" around???? dont know if this is the right forum to post this but have not had much luck anywhere else.
