Searching though the web you will find millions of posts telling you thah this occurs because the sensor is not sensing a flame; usually because the flame sensor has become coated and requires cleaning, the wires need connecting tighter, the ground wire must be firmly attached to a ground, the polarity of the wires on the furnace must be correct, the ignition board must not have failed.
