Noxious Oders/Smells Posted by Diane Tewari -O'Neill on December 9th, 2002 01:41 PM In reply to Smell within my school by Frank on April 16th, 2002 10:32 PM [Go to top of thread]
Oders from public buildings and homes can be harmful to our health. Oders and noxius smells are a warning from Nature of possible dangers. Never cover-up or mask a bad smell--get rid of it. If the smell is from chemicals--even though it may smell pleasant--it may be toxic, cause serious or chronic long-term illness, or even kill us.
Avoid and get rid of unhealthly oders and life- threatening indoor air. Clean your air with a good air purifier which can totally eliminate harmful noxious chemical oders, mildew, pet and human urine and body oders, cigarette smoke, and cooking oders. Unhealthy air can make people ill frequently, chronically ill, or terminally ill. People get sick from their homes, stores they shop at, schools, and from their work places. Clean and purify your home and air and improve your health. Be alert to changes in your breathing and other bodily changes while indoors. When in public places be especially alert to noxious oders and smells. At schools, while shopping, and while at restaurants be aware of the quality of the indoor air and your body's reaction to it.
Alert public building owners and managers to possible unhealthly air quality and insist they investigate and correct this public health danger. Was this post helpful? Yes: or No:
