I am about to lay unpolished continental slate porcelain tile on the floor of the bathroom. After pulling up the old carpet, pad & tacky strip the cement reeks with a mildewy & urine smell. The pad felt waterlogged. The floor was washed with ammonia to no avail. My question to you is: What can I clean the cement with that will eliminate the odor so it won't come up through the tile? I have a Eurika Enviro Steamer that I am considering using. Any suggestions? What about enzymes, any particular brand? I appreciate any help - Thanks, Deana
