I bought house plans off the internet which just happen to be with Cinder block. Most of the contractors I talk to keep trying to tell me I have to change them to a wood studs fro them to build for me. They also say it's cheaper. All the while they are trying to get me to use their architect to redraw the plans for a great fee. I don't believe them.
