Our 10-year-old house recently was damaged by a tornado. The insurance co. wants to repair our siding by pulling some off of another part of the house and having a painter match the color that the siding has faded to. I'm skeptical that 1- they will be able to match the color and 2- that the painted siding will not look differently than existing siding in a couple years. Has anyone had experience with this?
