I have a condo (converted apt) in Santa Monica with electric radiant ceiling heat. It stopped working in two of three rooms sometime about a year ago--and I don't know of anything that would have been done to damage the wires. I've had two radiant heating guys come in and both have checked at the thermostat and say the circuit is OK--but the ceilings don't produce heat any more. Is there anything I can do other than scrape the insulation off and have the system replaced? I really liked it when I worked--it takes no space, and in a warm climate doesn't cost much. I never spent more than $50 a month for electricity. Would appreciate any help. (Please excuse the double posting--I inadvertently posted a response before instead of a new post.)
