Make sure that the box that is in the ceiling will support the fixture you plan on installing.
If you have any doubts, you can buy a box kit at Home Depot that can be installed through the hole that is already there that will support up to 100 lbs. (I recently used one for a ceiling fan and it works great!)$15.00
