I also am looking at varible speed furnaces. Along with the Trane unit I am looking at the Tempstar variable speed furnace. Does anyone have a history with these? I live in the Chicago suburbs. Approximately 2800 sq ft colonial non zoned heating and cooling. With three asthmatics in the house we run the blower constantly to take advantage of the air cleaner.
