How does one go about removing the large quantity of foam stuck on the floor once the carpet is removed? This flooring has been in place for at least 20-25 years. Scraping with a metal scraper seems endless and practically useless. Is there any type of solution that you can spray on or apply to the foam that would allow it to come off the floor easier without damaging the hardwood. Any help on this topic would be appreciated.
