I have replaced a two prong, two outlet wall outlet with a 3 prong two outlet. I screwed the ground wire to the gound connection on the outlet and grounded it to the juntion box by screwing the ground wire to it.
The reason for doing this was to eliminate a faulty wiring warning on a power panel. Replacing the two prong with the three prong did not eliminate the problem. Help.
