This is my first time, built a red oak dining room table, and I am looking for advice on how to proceed with the fininshing..
I want to hi-lite the red in the oak, and would like to have a hard urethane finish over all.
I am getting conflicting advice on whether to use sand sealer, whether to apply the sand sealer before the first coat of stain, etc.
Any advice appreciated.
