I do not recommend electric baseboard heat, it is extremely non-cost efficient. I have a townhome/duplex with electric baseboard heat as my only source of heat. My bill is outragous every winter. Anywhere from 140-180.00 per month. I always keep all of them on the lowest setting possible. Yes, ok, take into consideration of it being 2 stories with a garage underneath and almost 1300 sq. feet and maybe poor insulation....but this is just my own experiences. Also, my are unable to be turned completely off individually....UGH! If I want them off completely I have to flip the breaker. Anyhow, just wanted to give you my imput...let me know if you have any more Q's.
