We live in S.E.Florida in a stucco and frame house, and I wanted to install R-19 Batt insulation in a small bathroom that I have totally demolished, and am now ready to start rebuilding the room. In the small eye-brow roof (3 in 12 pitch), I have installed low voltage Halogen recessed lights that are in IC'S (Insulated Cans).Can I put batt insulation right up to the Insulated Can? I also wanted to insulate the 2x 4 exterior walls, and 2x4 interior partition walls, and use 15 LB felt paper as a moisture barrior,or should use visquene plastic and try for more moisture seal?
