We are about to add a 14x30 porch to the back of the house. What is the best way to attach the porch roof to the house? Is it better to attach it to the roof of the house (as an extension with different pitch), or to install a ledger board on the wall below the house roof and attach it there?
If I decide to attach the porch roof to the existing roof, what is the best way to do it?
