Lagoon systems

We recently purchased eight acres to put our home
site on w/a horse farm. Upon inspection for a
septic permit, the county inspector and a soil
scientist, agreed due to a heavy clay based soil,
our only option was a lagoon system. We are open
to any and all options for the use of another
system, a lagoon system is not our A-1 choice. If
anyone has any suggestions we would greatly
appreciate hearing from you. Thanks for any
support given.
