Does anyone have any experience using a creaky floors "fixer" sold in a catalog called Solutions? They look like extra long drywall screws that you drive right through the carpeting, then use a special tool to snap the head off so they don't protrude above the flooring. I'm tempted to try it but have my suspicions and they're not cheap.
