the trick. Just support the pegboard well while you're cutting it. A good straight edge should help and if you want a really nice edge, cut the pegboard an 1/8th or so over and clamp the pegboard to a nice straight board with the excess extending over it and dress the edge with a laminate trim bit in your router.
