It sounds like your gutters were pushed up too high against the roofing materials. There should be a metal drip edge on the edge of the roof and the shingles should overhang it a touch. Your gutters should not be prying up on any of that material, you may want to lower them or call back the people who made them that way.I know the problem you have because the house I bought 2 months ago does the same thing.
