I'm installing a shower/tub combination and plan to use green drywall on the ceiling part of the shower/tub enclosure. This is a bungalow and the ceiling is an outside wall to the attic. My question is whether I need to add a vapor barrier directly above the green drywall, or whether that would cause moisture to accumulate inside the drywall sheet.
Is the green drywall a sufficient vapor barrier?
