As to the question as to what worked, the dryer did. I have had it a year and a half and has been using it all this time. I was drying clothes Sat. and after the 4th load, I went to check my clothes, and they were not dry, and cold. I also Called Sears about having the element tested. They told me they don't do that. That they have to come to my house and fix the dryer themselves. I don't understand that. I told them, for their price, it would be cheaper for me to buy another one. Thank You
