Refinishing wood floors

I'm planning to have my floors refinished (sanded and coated. I am not sure this is a job I can do myself, as it would include 3 rooms plus the hallway area of my house. What would a fair estimate of cost per square foot be to do this type of work? The floors are in good condition. I live in Middlesex county, New Jersey.

Any info you can give me would be extremely helpful.
