I have painted baseboards and window frames in my bedroom. The coat appears to be thin - the paint is easily scratched off. My problem is the members are probably old and brittle, so I most likely need to strip them while in place. The fumes of most strippers concerns me because I have dogs. Give me some tips and suggestions on what product(s) to use, where they can be purchased, and how easy or not easy this project would be.
