We believe our bathtub has a hairline crack in it and my husband continually tries to seal it, but after the tub is cleaned several times the leak is back. The leaking is causing a problem in our laundry room because the water has stained the ceiling and now chips of ceiling our falling off. Is there any permanent solution for our bathtub? Our house is only 5 years old and the tub is in the middle of the upstairs bathroom so replacing it would be very expensive. Any suggestions on what can be done?
