The instructions for the floresent light fixture I just purchased says "Warning: Risk of Fire. Most dwellings built before 1985 have supply wire rated 60 degree C. Consult a qualified electrician." My house was built in 1955. The new fixture is a replacement for an existing fixture in my basement that is currently a two bulb (60 watt each)incandesent type. I'd appreciate any advice you might have beyond the warning provided in the instructions. Thanks.
