you might want to go with a 2x8 or larger ridgeboard. if you want to get away with little to no vertical supports along the span to prevent sagging. I would suggest you consult a licensed architect for this room design....he will be capable of designating the proper ridgeboard size for what you are trying to create with your room with open trusses. and you probably need to get the proper permits and inspections. good luck.
