My electric clothes dryer must be moved for a remodelling job. I would like to cut a 4 inch hole through the rim joist and the 4 inches of concrete that supports the brick on the outside of the house. There are smaller holes in similiar locations for the furnace and hot water heater vents and A/C lines, so it can be done without the wall falling down. Is there a power tool that can be rented to accomplish this? A heavy duty diamond tip hole saw type of thing?
