I am right in the middle of this project. It seems easy enough to figure out what needs to be torn up once you start pulling up the floor...But I am having trouble cutting out the whole floor so that I get the edges cleanly. Any suggestions? Also, I need to understand how to attach 2X4s to studs...just nail them? How many nails? Also, is a sleeve the best way to attach the new bathroom drain to the existing pipe? Guess I need to saw off the old drain before I put down the new floor? Any suggestions on any of this?
