We have a 1910 home which has 4 canvas ceilings. Unfortunately, water from the 2nd floor bathroom has damaged the canvas and I'd like to paint it but I think I need to re-seal it with something first but am not sure with what. Also, is there speacial ceiling paint that I'll need to buy? Is latex or oil paint better?
Then there is a small rip- how to I approach this without making it worse?
