I'm in the process of putting in a deck with Diamond wood, otherwise known as Ipe, or Pau Lope. I understand this wood left unstained will weather to turn a slivery gray. That is the finish I would like to eventually have and I'm wondering if Seasonlite would delay this from happening and if so, by about how long? Also, I live very close to the coast and I want my deck to last as long as possible and to look good as long as possible. To achieve this and the slivery gray finish, would you recommend I use Seasonlite?
