We recently purchased an older home. I know this may sound crazy but I can't tell if we have a sump pump or not. one room in our basement has a wet spot, we removed the carpeting, dried the area, now is's wet again. I was told to get a sump pump installed. I guess I need to know what to look for in my basement. Would I find it outside or inside the house?
