The installation was done by a professional. The layers are: 1) Pergo, 2) foam, 3) 1/4 inch cork, 4) 5/8 plywood subflooring on 16 inch floor joists. The subflooring was screwed down tight and is definitly not squeeking.
The cork gives a little and squeeks only in a couple of spots.
Whisperwalk was not used. Is this a correct installation? Can we fix the squeeks?
