Light bulbs keep fusing around the house.

Hello Bob,
My house was built in 1935, it is a semi-detached house. I moved in around 1997, since then I have had a few light bulbs fusing on me, but lately, the number has increased. I am constantly changing my light bulbs around the house lately. I do not know whether the house has been re-wired recently or not, but the fuse box has a combination of both the old fuse box and the circuit breaker fuse box. Please would you advise me whether I need to seek an electrician or a complete re-wire of the house.
