Green based mold with white fuzzy top in the eaves. Also condensation on the nail heads. I've killed the mold and lowered the humidity, but can that really have been the cause of my problem. I have no leaks, 2 mushroom roof vents 2 gable vents on a small ranch house.
Also do vents in the soffets under the eaves help or hurt. I'm being told to put 4 in, however I feel this might make my attic too cold, and reduce my heat in the home
causing higher heating bills?
