We have a smell like old tuna that seems to be centered around the stairway (open, no walls). We cannot seem to isolate exactly where it is coming from. No crawl space or attic, it's a log home. It comes and goes without a pattern. Carpets are new. We live in a rural area, so wild life everywhere. When exterminator came to check it out, the odor was not present that day.
