I'm planning a community project where we will be putting colorful ceramic tiles on the vertical face (i.e. not the part you step on) of each step of a 120-step cement staircase. That way when walking up the staircase you will have a beautiful view. My question is: a)what sources of Italian-, Mexican- or Spanish-type tiles can you recommend, and what sort of grout should be used (tried and true, not some plastic substance)?
