You may want to drill the holes all the way through the door and use carriage bolts with washers going from the outside in and nuts on the inside. Make sure the bolts are not too long.
This is a much stronger fix and should last forever.
Note* You should also look at the catch side of the dead bolt tosee what is holding that in.
If someone can give it a good kick and the screws come out there, what good is it?
I have always been a big fan of using two heavey duty Z brackets and a good strong 2 X 6 across the door. (only works on a inswing door)
