What kind of paint........you need a solvent......Mineral Spirits ......Alcohol........Lacquer Thinner......?

Applied with soft coths......Lots-o-cotton swabs/balls......don't smear it around .......

The leather has absorbed some of the color .......so I hope you'll still "paint" some thing here to cover/disguise the "Oops!"......

Glossy finish leather may have a better chance of survival........also a good leather cleaner/polish may clean up any residue after the solvent.......
