my maytag neptune front loader washing machine has mold on the outter ring of rubber. the thick peice of runnber AND on the brush teeth. the mold is so bad, i can not remove it and it looks almost black. the waching machine smells of mold really badly. it is 1 1/2 years old. purchased at lowes home improvement. a couple of things to note. i have run cycles of clorox bleach. i have scrubbed it with clorox bleach. i do have municipal water. we have lived here for 11 years with no problems of mold in any other appliance, encluding previous washing machine. i am concerned that the mold will destroy the rubber pieces, not to mention it sounds totally unhealthy. suggestions?
