Cracks in garage floor, basement and foundation

Help, we bought a house 8 years ago that passed a home inspection with flying colours. Now, we have cracks in the garage concrete floor and our basement laundry room, as well as, a larger crack in the foundation wall where the garage is. Someone told me it is just parging?
